Ted Talk Worth Your Time

This is a Ted Talk by Collin Kartchner that will get your attention. You may not agree with everything he says, but his research is current and valid and I see many of the things he is talking about every week in students as I am sure you do as well. I hope this gets all of us asking questions about what’s best for our students and gives us courage to parent based on need and not our surroundings. This talk is practical, it doesn’t address the spiritual. I say that because our students having a relationship with Jesus must be priority number one and there are few things that I see that have a more negative effect on their faith than phones and social media. And as he says at the end, it all starts with us and our parenting.
